- Abstract
The article presents a study which evaluates the molecular weight of depolymerized poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) using intrinsic viscosity. The study used Mark-Houwink's equation to calculate the molecular weights. The results show that molecular weight decreases dramatically as the reaction time, like the number average molecular weight from 2.57 x 104 of the feedstock PET, increases.
