- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses whether p53 protein isoforms are primary regulators in the front line of pathogen infections. The cellular gatekeeper p53, in response to extra- or intracellular stresses, is able to integrate multiple varied signals to know the outcome of cell fate, by controlling the expression of many responsive genes.
