- Authors

- Abstract
The article reports on wolf breeding in the North Cascades Mountains of Washington State. A study by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) team, confirms that wolves are breeding in the mountains for the first time since the 1930s. The team collected DNA samples from a wolf pack in the region, which confirmed that the wolves were not dog-wolf hybrids and provided information as to the wolves' origins. Researchers stress the need for conservation.
