- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that aims to identify and isolate arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) species from three plant species grown in chronically petroleum-contaminated soil while evaluating the impact of volatile compounds of the contaminated soil in Activo Cinco Presidentes, Tabasco, Mexico. It notes that samples of rhizosphere soil were used to determine its chemical properties. Results of the study have further confirmed the presence of AMF in the contaminated soils.
