- Abstract
The article discusses the key role of SMARCA4-mutated atypical teratoid (AT)/rhabdoid tumors (RT) in the regulation of proliferation and differentiation. The association of SMARCA4 in AT/RT with a high rate of inherited germline mutations and aggressive biological behavior is mentioned. It notes that the effect of SMARCA4-mutated AT/RT varies from factors commonly related with young age, detrimental prognosis, and germline mutation status.
