- Abstract
The article discusses the robust molecular subgrouping and copy-number profiling of medulloblastoma from small amounts of archival tumour by the use of high-density DNA methylation arrays. It notes that the technology can be applied with low amounts of starting material and with the benefit of easier handling compared with formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE)-derived RNA. Moreover, this platform holds great potential for refining the information obtainable from large, archival tumour series.
