- Abstract
The article presents a study regarding the comparison of zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe) and magnesium (Mg) concentrations in freshwater crayfish at lakes in Ontario. The study employed materials and methods including Orconectes virilis collection, drying of fish viscera and Perkin-Elmer atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Results indicate that highest tissue concentration of Zn and Fe are observed in crayfish from Wizard Lake and Ramsey Lake.
