- Abstract
A reflectionless band-stop filter was designed based on integrated passive device (IPD) technology. It can absorb the reflected signal, which can improve the linearity of the circuit. According to the circuit topology structure of the filter, the circuit was designed by transformation method. Modeling and simulation were performed for the filter using electronic design automation (ADS) software and three-dimensional full-wave electromagnetic field (HFSS) software. The central frequency of the filter is at 4.11 GHz with stopband from 1.52 GHz to 6.70 GHz. The stopband rejection, passband insertion loss and relative bandwidth is ≥14.47 dB, <0.7 dB, and 79% respectively. By using the IPD structure for the millimeter wave filter, the filter is optimized and miniaturized with overall size of 0.9 mm×1 mm×0.1 mm. The reflectionless band-stop filter was verified by three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation experiment.
