- Abstract
The article offers perspective on the Australasian contribution to the development of neurosurgery in Singapore. It provides background on the beginning of neurosurgery in Singapore and highlights the roles of Doctor John Lekias in the accreditation of neurosurgery in Singapore by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and Doctor Bryant Allen Rigby Stokes in training the first batch of RACS qualified neurosurgeons. It describes the present day state of neurosurgery in Singapore.
