- Abstract
The article reports on the study that examines patient presented with history of occasional malena and upper abdominal colicky pain. It states that the patient undergo chemotherapy with 5- fluorouracil and folinic acid. It reveals that the histopathology of the pancreaticoduodenectomy specimen showed a well-differentiated adenocarcinoma with infiltration of muscle coat. It found that small bowel adenocarcinoma is a rare entity accounting for less than 2% of all gastrointestinal malignancies.
