- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which investigates the possible relationships between climate in Szeged, Hungary and attendance at a tertiary ophthalmologic care unit. It states that fewer people attended emergency room in the winter than in other seasons. It notes the positive relation of the numbers of mild and non-sever cases of eye diseases to daily minimum and maximum temperatures. It mentions that the incidence of severe ophthalmologic case was not affected by the weather condition.
