Describes the role of onagers as potential pasture parasite management tools in zoological collections. Pathogenic effects of gastrointestinal parasites in equids; Results suggesting that despite the presence of infective parasitic larvae on the pasture, any ingested by the onagers either failed to establish infection, to develop or reach patency.
