- Abstract
The article presents an abstract of the paper "α Linolenic Acid Deprivation Alters the in Vivo Turnover of Docosahexaenoic Acid in Rat Brain Phospholipids," which will be presented at the 30th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Neurochemistry to be held from March 14-17, 1999 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The study suggests that the turnover of docosahexaenoic acid in brain phospholipids, mostly in phosphatidyl ethanolamine, is increased by α -Linolenic Acid deprivation.
