- Abstract
The article comments on a study that disputed the lack of replication of the glutamate receptor gene (GRIN2A) effect and coffee interaction in Parkinson Disease (PD). Topics discussed include an overview of datasets in the literature that examined the risk of developing PD as a function of glutamate receptor gene GRIN2A and coffee use and the need for clinical trials to test if GRIN2A is a useful pharmacogenomic marker.
