- Title
A major switch for the Fanconi anemia DNA damage–response pathway.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses the result of a study suggesting that a major switch activating the Fanconi anemia pathway is the ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related (ATR) kinase-dependent phosphorylation of FANCI. The pathway responds both to DNA interstrands cross-links and to DNA alterations by other agents, such as oxidative stress and ionizing radiation.
