- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 32-year-old Asian female with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) next to lupus nephritis who acquired a kidney transplant from a deceased donor. Her medical history showed pregnancy complications and placental pathology revealed vascular thrombosis and necrosis. She was diagnosed with seronegative antiphospholipid syndrome (SNAPS). It discusses APLS and its complications and the impact of SNAPS in graft failure thrombosis risks.
