- Abstract
The article presents a study on precipitation trends on the Coast Mountains in Mauritius in relation to the impacts of global climate change. The study uses daily rainfall data in determining the changes in the long-term trends in rainfall variability in the area. It reveals that the surrounding sea surface temperatures and Indian Monsoon as well as the El Niño Southern Oscillation influenced rainfall patterns.
