- Abstract
The article focuses on a study exploring the effect of occupational exposure period as well as lung burden on the clearance rate of aluminium-silicate ceramic fibre. It notes that occupational exposure to several kinds of asbestos may result to asbestosis, bronchial cancer, pleural, and peritoneal mesotheliomas. The production of man-made fibres (MMF) is mentioned.
