- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examined the influences of heparan sulfate (HS) moieties on the structure and function of natural killer (NK) cell. Topics discussed include the structural diversity of HS, functions of NK cells as innate immune cells capable of attacking tumor, components of NK cell activating receptors and inhibition of tumor progression and metastasis with the use of HS and structurally similar Low Molecular Weight Heparin.
