- Abstract
Nine trainees completed the education programme and performed 84 injections in the phantom and 465 ILIT injections in 175 patients (Figure 1). Reduction in cSMS was associated with the quality of ILIT injection suggesting that high-quality injections give a better clinical effect than low-quality injections. The major limitation of this study is that trainees did not record all ILIT injections and a higher injection quality in the not-saved/not-analysed injection may account for a part of the cSMS reduction.
