- Abstract
The article describes the sophisticated genetic algorithms (GA) for wireless communications and its design procedure in collaborating with NEC-2 for antenna designs and optimization. It demonstrates examples of antennas using GA to prove their capability as a quick optimization tool in antenna designs. It compares the results for the proposed antennas from both the modelling and the prototype for validation. It also introduces a novel program for meshing planarantennas using wire-grid structure.
