- Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to establish one integrated extraction technology of synephrine and hesperidin from Citrus aurantium based on the yield and purity. Extraction protocols such as solvent volume, extraction time, concentration and volume of acid solution, and flow rate of percolation were optimized. The final optimized extraction technology followed as: the materials were crashed to coarse powder, added 5 times water to extract 24 h and filter, used 4 fold 0.02 mol/mL hydrochloric acid solution as percolate liquor, percolate speed was 5 mL/min, dissolved the filter cakes with 65% alcohol solution, adjusted to pH 13, filtered and adjusted to pH 5 with hydrochloric acid solution, modulated pH value of filter solution to 7 and leaved for 12 h. The yield and the purity of hesperidin were 11.3% and 86.7% (HPLC analysis) respectively.
