- Abstract
L, X und Z sind drei Buchstaben, die zur Einteilung von Liganden in der Koordinationschemie verwendet werden. Mit den Phosphanen (L), Alkylen (X) und Boranen (Z) als anschauliche Beispiele wird die Einteilung von Liganden in eine dieser Gruppen anhand der Art des bindenden Atoms vorgenommen. In ihrer Zuschrift auf S. 9022 ff. zeigen F. P. Gabbaï et al., dass diese Ligandentypen von demselben bindenden Element, in diesem Fall von Antimon, angenommen werden können.
