- Abstract
The use of parallel and distributed computing techniques for the computationally efficient solution of Electromagnetic Field problems is an area which over the past few years with the availability of general and special-purpose multiprocessor hardware has seen increased research activity, as of May 1, 1995. Classical numerical modelling of electromagnetic field problems using sequential algorithms is computer intensive, particularly as spatial discretization, geometry complexity, and domain size requirements become more demanding.
