- Abstract
The article provides information about the act and control of defecation, a physiological event which ia present in every human being which consists of the expulsion of fecal matter. It provides an overview of actual defecation, which is the result of synchronized ileo-colo-recto-anal motility as well as the prey-predator relationship in controlling defecation. Information about hominids and the concept of evolution is also provided.
