- Abstract
The article presents an overview on endolumenal therapies for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It cites the series of specific criticisms and issues concerning the endolumenal therapies for GERD. Various case studies and research conducted are also mentioned in the article. It was found out that favorable results have been reported with some therapeutic modalities, and other appropriately relegated for safety and efficacy concerns.
