- Abstract
Objetivo: Identificar o número de pacientes com diagnostico sepse e choque séptico; validar protocolo diariamente, assegurar terapêutica volêmica e antimicrobiana; capacitar equipe no diagnóstico precoce da sepse/choque séptico. Métodos: Trata-se e uma pesquisa quantitativa, realizada em duas UTI's de um hospital privado de grande porte na cidade de São Paulo, onde o público de atendimento se caracteriza por pacientes clínicos, cirúrgicos, oncológicos, neurológicos e cardiológicos. A coleta de dados ocorre por 90 dias onde foram monitorados sinais vitais dos pacientes elegíveis ao protocolo, inserção e desfecho de casos. Resultados: Através desse estudo foi possível obter os seguintes resultado: 284 pacientes atendidos, onde a soma do tempo para diagnostico da disfunção orgânica nos pacientes com sepse/choque séptico foi divido pelo total de paciente com sepse/choque séptico, nesse caso o tempo médio de detecção foi de 0,00% ou seja detecção imediata, taxa de administração de antibiótico em menos de 60 minutos girou em torno de 89%, taxa de hemocultura 98% em menos de 60 minutos. Total de pacientes com sepse no período do estudo 8 casos, choque séptico 7 casos. Desfecho 5 pacientes de alta hospitalar, 4 internados e 6 óbitos. Conclusão: Por meio desse estudo foi possível elucidar o número de casos de sepse e choque séptico, bem como despertar na equipe de enfermagem e médica a necessidade de monitorização constante dos dados vitais dos pacientes hospitalizados assim como construir medidas de intervenção precoce e efetividade no tratamento.
