- Abstract
The article presents a study on the changes in forest biomass during recovery after shifting cultivation. The recovery of forest is depend upon the age levels. The sample siites was located at maize area of Southern Yucatan Peninsular Region in Mexico. Allometric equations was used to estimate total aboveground (TAG) biomass. TAG biomass is driven by successional age.
