What You Should Know About a Heart-Healthy Diet.
- Abstract
The article provides information on a heart-healthy diet. It states that a heart-healthy diet limits the amount of foods that put people at risk for heart disease and allows them to eat plenty of the foods that keep their heart healthy. Benefits of a heart-healthy diet include the increase of good cholesterol called high density lipoproteins (HDL) and decrease of the risk of cancer. Foods that are part of a heart-healthy diet include fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products.
