- Abstract
Objective: to evaluate the quality of life of nursing program faculty. Method: cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, conducted with all professors of the Nursing Department of a Federal University. The research instrument was a questionnaire on sociodemographic characteristics and the WHOQOL-Bref. For data analysis, the EPIINFO 7.1.3 and Microsoft Excel 2007 were used. The research project was approved by the Ethics Committee with the opinion No. 177 563 Results: self-evaluation of quality of life obtained a mean score of 3.70, which corresponds to the option Good, regarding satisfaction with health; the average score was 3.60. The social relationships domain had the highest mean score and the physical domain was the most affected. Conclusion: the professors' teaching-learning process interferes with quality of life, whether by the student-teacher relationship, by the organizational issue, by payment or working conditions.
