- Abstract
A letter to the editor of the Annals of Internal Medicine discusses a clinical trial on time-restricted eating (TRE) for weight loss in a racially diverse population. The authors raise three questions regarding the study. First, they suggest that the relationship between the number of meals and weight loss should be explored. Second, they express concerns about the rigid structure of the time-restricted schedule and propose alternative meal divisions. Lastly, they inquire about the potential impact of sleep duration on weight loss. The letter provides additional perspectives and considerations for further research on TRE.
