- Title
Fungi Living in Plant Roots have Low Habitat and Host Specificities, But Highly Restricted Distributions.
- Abstract
In this study, we show that most root-associated fungi are not choosy when colonizing different habitats or plant species, but show remarkably high levels of endemism at local scales. Many fungi associate with plant roots and potentially affect plant growth and health, as well as several soil processes.
