- Abstract
The article reports on the habitat characterization of bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) along the coast of Yucatan, Mexico. Also cited are the use of the line-transect sampling method to conduct direct search and systematic observation of the dolphins, and the measurement of oceanographic data like dissolved oxygen, temperature, salinity, and surface pH to examine the dolphins' habitats.
