- Abstract
The aims of this study were to evaluate aggressiveness in Type-A Behavior Pattern (TABP) and its relationship with suicide in university students and build a predictive model on the basis of the aggressiveness scores. University students (N = 340) completed the MMPI-2 Type-A Scale (TPA), the Aggression Questionnaire (AQ), and a questionnaire evaluating suicidal ideation and attempts. The TPA evidenced a moderate to strong correlation with the AQ dimensions. TABP students showed high aggressiveness and a high percentage of suicidal ideation. The evaluation of hostility permits a predictive model to be created to derive rules for classifying TABP students at a hitcher risk of suicide.
