- Abstract
In the potential cluster model with forbidden states and classification of orbital cluster states according to Young's schemes, the possibility is considered of describing the experimental data for the total cross sections of radiative nN capture at energies from 25.0 meV (25∙10 eV) to 1.0 MeV. It is shown that on the whole it is possible to successfully explain the behavior of these cross sections outside the resonant energy region on the basis of the E1 transition from the S scattering wave with zero phase to the bound Р state of the N nucleus in the nN channel.
