Avaliação de dois protocolos de contenção química para esterilização em saguisde-tufo-preto (Callithrix penicillata).

- Abstract
Objetivou-se avaliar as variáveis cardiorrespiratórias, sedação, recuperação e variáveis sanguíneas, em saguis-de-tufo-preto (Callithrix penicillata) durante o procedimento de esterilização. Dezesseis animais (14 machos e 2 fêmeas), com peso médio de 0,322 kg (±0,04kg) capturados via armadilhas Tomahawk, foram alocados em dois grupos: CDB (cetamina 8mg/kg, dexmedetomidina 5ug/kg e butorfanol 0,1mg/kg) ou CMB (cetamina 10mg/kg, midazolam 0,3mg/kg e butorfanol 0,1mg/kg). Avaliou-se frequência cardíaca (FC), frequência respiratória (FR), saturação periférica de oxigênio (SpO2), Temperatura(°C), profundidade e recuperação anestésica, além dos resgates sedativos com isoflurano através das escalas de Galante (2014). Administrou-se os tratamentos via intramuscular, aguardando-se 15min, sendo avaliado os parâmetros a cada 5 min até o final do procedimento. Utilizou-se ANOVA seguido de Dunnet para dados paramétricos, e Friedman, seguido de Kruskall-Wallis, para não paramétricos (p=0,05). Após o procedimento contabilizou-se o tempo de recuperação total, deambulação e qualidade de recuperação. Os animais foram microchipados e no dia seguinte devolvidos no mesmo local da captura. A FC apresentou uma diminuição média de 24,87%, no CDB em relação ao CMB (p=0,0025), as demais variáveis cardiorrespiratórias não difeririam significativamente entre protocolos. Na análise de profundidade de sedação, o CDB proporcionou sedação mais estável, 3 contra 7 resgates em CMB, bem como um tempo de deambulação 38% maior no CMB (p=0,0039). Conclui-se que a contenção química com cetamina, butorfanol associados a dexmedetomidina proporcionaram uma contenção mais adequada, com 58% menos chance de apresentar resgate com isoflurano, e tempo de deambulação mais rápida, porém com uma depressão cardíaca mais intensa que a associação com midazolam.
