- Abstract
The article discusses the inflation-targeting framework of Uruguay. Topics include the evolution of the primary macroeconomic factors from 2002-2012 in Uruguay, the characteristics of the monetary policy used, and the theoretical framework the Central Bank of Uruguay used to measure the impact of several policies in order to achieve Uruguay's financial objectives. Also mentioned are the New Keynesian models and the International Monetary Fund.
