- Abstract
The article talks about the characterization and fitness of the carbendazim-resistant strains of Fusarium graminearum or wheat scab. The authors mentioned that wheat scab caused by Fusarium graminearum Schwabe on the eastern coast of China after 30 years of application has been failed to be controlled by Carbendazim (MBC). They reported that the resistance to MBC has been said to be common in pathogen on the locality of the Yangtze River and on the eastern coast. The author also said that MBC isolates posses high competition and fitness in field conferred by a novel molecular mechanism.
