Lacan para multitudes o por qué no se puede vivir sin Lacan.
- Authors
Martínez Verdú, José Guillermo
- Abstract
The article presents a review of the book "Lacan for the Masses or Why One Cannot Live Without Lacan" written by Manuel Asensi Pérez. The book, which inaugurates the Psychoanalysis Collection of the Tirant Humanidades publishing house, addresses Lacanian psychoanalysis from the "everyday experience," making it accessible for both specialists and those who wish to approach the subject. The author explores topics such as the graph of desire, the distinction between conscious and unconscious self, the paternal function, and the name of the father, among others. Although the book may be controversial in some aspects, it offers a comprehensive and rigorous journey through Lacan's thinking.
