In addition, IANBs and MNBs are peripheral nerve blocks that are categorized as compartment nerve blocks. These mainly include ultrasound-guided inferior alveolar nerve blocks (IANBs), also called mandibular nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided maxillary nerve blocks (MNBs) [[5]].
