- Abstract
Sarcoidosis is a disease that presents a vast number of clinical courses. The lung and lymphatic system are most commonly affected in 90% and 30 % of the cases, respectively. Extrapulmonary involvement has been reported in less than 30% of affected patients. Abdominal involvement is considered the most common extrapulmonary manifestation, but peritoneal involvement is relatively rare. This case describes the finding of abdominal sarcoidosis as well as peritoneal involvement.
