- Abstract
The article presents a historical and global overview of Catholicity. It explains the Niceno-Constantinopolitan quadrilateral of the Christian church namely the unity of the church, its holiness, its Catholicity, and its apostolicity. It states that the quadrilateral was taken seriously and affirmed by the Westminster Assembly which was particularly committed to catholicity. It also discusses the Westminster Assembly and the Church in the 21st century in relation to historical and geographical catholicity among others.
