- Abstract
The article presents a report on the systematic review for the most commonly recognized genera for seaweed in the Fucaceae and Laminariaceae families by the Natural Standard Research Collaboration. It mentions that seaweeds are polyphyletic group of organisms that are multicellular algae living near the sea floor. It informs that molecular sequencing is used to differentiate species.
