- Abstract
The article offers information concerning pulmonary hypertension associated with congenital diaphragmatic hernia. It notes that congenital diaphragmatic hernia is caused by persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn with insufficient therapy. It is a defect of the diaphragm which allows the abdominal content to ascend into the thorax, causing lung growth in utero.
