- Abstract
The article presents two case studies that suggest the link between antidepressants and enhanced emotional regulation difficulties in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) which may contribute to increased suicidality and externalizing behaviors in some patients. Topics include selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor antidepressants, pharmacotherapies for PTSD, and hyperarousal symptoms in PTSD patients.
