- Abstract
The article discusses the response of British royal families in the development of photography. According to the author, during the coronation of Queen Victoria, it does not have any camera record since photography has not existed, however, throughout her entire reign she freely posed with photographer John Jabez Edward Mayall who become one of the most popular photographers in the country. In addition, the author notes that Queen Victoria has developed an interest in photography wherein she started to collect pictures and sponsored photograph exhibition that has become part and interest of royal tradition.
