- Abstract
The article presents reports from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) on various health issues in the U.S. One of the reports focused on the pregnancy estimates based on the 2005 data on live birth and induced abortion which found a decline by 11 percent. Other reports examined data on health insurance coverage for adults and children, and a comparison on the U.S. infant mortality rates with rates in European countries.
