- Abstract
In this article, the author comments on a study by Müller LE and colleagues published within the issue of the periodical, which shows the electroencephalographic signature of the brain's representation of internal bodily responses d in patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD). It mentions that heart rate, respiratory frequency, and sweat gland activity are among the autonomic reactions used as objective indices of the strength of emotional response.
