- Abstract
The article discusses the study that determined the emerging roles of multiplexins collagen XV and XVIII in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) development and progression, particularly with their distinct biological functions in the development of tissues and homeostasis. Topics discussed include cSCC model system used to analyze collagens XV and XVIII distribution during cSCC development and progression stages, and collagen XV detected in tumor stroma in late stages of cSCC progression.
