- Abstract
The article discusses the results of a study of cases of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in Saudi Arabia. Topics discussed include the potential spread of MERS-CoV among French pilgrims after the 2013 Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the risk of pilgrims for respiratory tract infections due to severe overcrowding and prevalence of influenza virus among the pilgrims.
